Sebastião Oliveira, deputado federal licenciado e atual secretário estadual de Transportes – anuncia uma importante conquista para o município de Carnaubeira da Penha. Em recente reunião com o presidente da Compesa, Roberto Tavares, Oliveira garantiu junto ao gestor e ao governador Paulo Câmara, o investimento de R$ 3,3 milhões para a obra hídrica que minimizará os problemas causados pela escassez de água na cidade.
A intervenção, que compreenderá toda rede de abastecimento de Carnaubeira da Penha, é uma antiga reivindicação da população que será atendida pelo Governo do Estado por meio da Compesa. “O Governo de Pernambuco não está medindo esforços para realizar esta obra que vai melhorar a qualidade de vida de milhares de pernambucanos. Os problemas causados pela falta de água nas torneiras dos moradores de Carnaubeira da Penha estão com dos dias contados”, destacou Sebastião Oliveira.
Na próxima segunda-feira (20) está agendada uma nova reunião, que desta vez, contará com a presença do prefeito de Carnaubeira da Penha, Dr. Manoel. “O prefeito precisa assinar alguns documentos. A prefeitura também vai ajudar nas desapropriações para que a obra comece até janeiro de 2018”, explicou Sebastião Oliveira.

Em Carnaubeira da Penha importantes ações nas áreas hídrica e infraestrutura de transportes nas gestões dos governadores Eduardo Campos e Paulo Câmara tiveram participação efetiva de Sebastião Oliveira, que em 2009, também como secretário de Transportes, comandou a pavimentação da PE 425, no trecho que liga Mirandiba a Carnaubeira da Penha. . Atualmente, a Secretaria de Transportes realiza a pavimentação do trecho da PE-425 entre Carnaubeira da Penha e Floresta.
